This film is a comical skit for the skateboarding culture; It was created (filmed and edited) by Richard Espinoza, starring Brian Torres and Peter Villalba.
A beauty of the skateboarding culture is that It is not all about learning tricks; a great part of the culture comes from the social interactions experienced and social bonds created. In a survey I created I asked "How does skateboarding benefit you socially?" answers expressed creating friendships and making life long memories. A response was "I meet new people and make new stories on my life." This short skit was created in result from a friendship that was made through skateboarding. Also, I am not sure if this is just me but this was funny, creative, and the filming/editing was on point (perfect). This film was created by a skateboarder. His passions aside from skateboarding are photography and videography/editing. It gives a small glimpse of what people are apart of the skateboarding culture that adds to the diverse community as well as exemplifies what can be accomplish together to benefit the whole culture. In this case it was a comical video for the skateboarding culture (and possibly other).
